The harness is an eye jerker, itΒs very easy to control your pooch with it. The metal clips are easy to manipulate and keep it secure and stable. The straps make it adjustable to your dogs body. Easy to put in the dog and doesnΒt hinder the dogs performance or movement. Very durable and it is padded so it doesnΒt hurt your pooch. Has the hook and loop capability allowing you to put morale patches or service patches on it. It also has molle so you can attach pouches or other accessories to it. Love this harness and have purchased 2 so far. Look out for dogs that like to chew however, they will chew on the straps. My harness has reflective patches on it making it highly visible and while my dog is performing she isnΒt uncomfortable one bit. It works like a charm.

My dog Greyson was badly abused and suffers from fear aggression. He loves to be outside and around people but tries to bite when a stranger attempts to pet him. We used to have to have him muzzled when walking the trails but we thought we would give a vest a try. The Do Not Pet patches plus his vest works wonders and people respect the patches. It has even sparked up conversations with other pet parents about dog rehabilitation and consent.
Most people see a dog with a Do Not Pet sign and assume they are a working dog. I did not want that misunderstanding so none of his patches indicate that. I like that the velcro on the vest is strong so I can add different patches and they stay put while we are navigating rough terrain.
It also helps keep him cool. I had thought that having a vest on in the Texas summer heat would mean he would become overheated fast but it was the opposite. I took twice the amount of water I normally do on our first hike in it and we didnΒt need the extra water. His back and chest stayed cool the entire time.
The only downside is that it rubs the inside of his front underarms raw. After a seven mile hike he canΒt wear it for a few days. I measured him like the directions stated and it fits in all other places like it should.
A side note, Greyson seems to know that the best is important and he behaves differently in it, like he has a job to do. He isnΒt a service dog, as I stated, but he would be good at it if it were not for the fear aggression.

This harness not only looks cool but it is incredibly durable. We have used this daily and our dog Baxter acts absolutely proud as can be when it goes on. He’s a pit bull and hasn’t managed to rip this harness yet!
He’s played with other dogs and ran through the brush and it has still held up beyond just a small bit of fabric fray.
He acts like it is super comfy because sometimes he refuses to let us take it off but he loves for us to put it on.
I love that it goes on super easy and has multiple points to anchor to, tighten and strap so you can adjust it as your dog grows or even loses a few pounds.
The added velcro is a cool touch because you can get all kinds of velcro patches to put on to give your dog a unique touch.
Great for hunting, service dogs or just to unless the inner beast of your home protector.

It fit him perfectly. And he looked so professional and handsome! Everything about this harness was top notch. Nothing ever broke, no busted seams, the Velcro stayed secure, and i would definitely buy it again. Actually I am about to buy a new one for my new service dog right now. Pros: IΒve tried many harnesses and this one is by far the most comfortable. I like the padding that protects her from every clip and plastic adjustment. The biggest pro is that It seems to be so cozy and its one of the very few harnesses that has all the adjustments! Its absolutely necessary to have a neck clip to get her head in and out because it needs to be totally snug when its on. I also think it actually calms her when she has it on because its a full padded jacket. Very well made. People that complain about it coming apart must have gone thru a doggie war or something. π

This review is based on the five years we’ve had this product for my red sable male GSD and how this product has held up. I purposely waited to write this review since the product was really well made when I purchased it years ago (2018).

and very comfortable material. Very clean and sleek look. The vest does not fall short or long on the dog’s torso. It’s a perfect length as some vests tend to be on the shorter end. My dog loves this vest. It is very comfortable and it allows him to have great mobility with comfort. The material do not cut into his fur/skin especially when he is exercising at a high energy level or out during long walks/jogs. This product is still used weekly (since I purchased the vest for my dog). Very little signs of wear and tear in the five years. I probably will not need to purchase a new vest anytime soon for him. I did purchased other vest brands and I returned them due to inferior material in comparison. Nothing to dislike about this product. If this company continue to keep the quality level the same (as when I bought this vest for my dog five years ago….) I will buy from this company again.
Do I recommend this product? Yes. Serves what we need for our dog. Love the clean sleek look and the Quality is superb. Photo is a current photo of my dog in his vest.

Fits well and is rugged. Quick disconnect buckles on forward straps help when I groom Ares. He doesn’t seem to mind that the chest strap is snug. He’s really active. I think it’s a great product. People comment how nice it looks. I like the fact it only uses two points of latches. Pulling is easily controlled by the no-pull front latche wich is a nice feature for my active pup. Bravo. ??

I’ve used this on my GSD for almost three years. It has held up really well. The only reason I am replacing it is because I cut too much excess strap off and my dog has gotten bigger. So I am replacing it with the exact same thing. It has plenty of room for velcro name and phone numbers. It’s also very good for securing dog in the back seat. Mine is bright orange so really stands out if there are hunters around. I really have been pleased with this harness and I am so glad they are still making them.

Bought this in large size for my petite boxer (52 lbs) and it fits well. I have it adjusted down most of the way to fit her. At first it was really stiff, kinda like a new carhart jacket. I ran it through the washing machine on warm on the gentle cycle a couple times and let it air dry. Seems to have loosened it up a bit. My dog was not a huge fan of it at first. She just kinda stood there like WTF. After I enticed her with a game of fetch she seems to have forgotten all about it being on her. So far I am happy but I will say a couple things. The front metal clips are cool and feel heavy duty. Wish the two chest clips were metal too. The leash attachment is hearty and seems like it should do just fine. The handle on top seems like it might rip off. The threading is visible through the handle and it appears to be some sort of fishing line type material. Idk but I grabbed it once and heard it make a ripping like sound. Decided just won’t use that handle. So FYI on that. If you have a big who is a puller, and you use the handle be warned.
I also bought the version of this that has 4 chest clips because I wasn’t sure what one would fit best. That one was too big for her chest. Might better fit longer bodied dogs like GSD etc. Thr two chest clip model ( this listing) fit much better.

I was surprised that this fit perfectly right out of the package. I didnΒt even have to adjust the straps. My Australian Shepherd is eight months old and 55 pounds. I ordered a medium. He has room to grow and the straps seem like they will be easy to adjust. This harness is so easy to take off and put on, my previous one was a disaster. My dog chewed through 2 other harnesses within an hour or so of getting them. So i was really looking for a durable harness he couldnt chew through and this one came through, he has chewed on it multiple times but cant put a dent in the material. Its pretty true to size, my pup is 30ish pounds and the small fits him and its only a tad loose. You just might need some pet safe lubricant for the metal clips in the back because they start to squeak if they arent oiled.

We purchased this harness to fit our BMCs. We track deer and game, so we needed something that the dogs could move in freely, but would still protect them from stobs and still be highly visible. The dogs know when this harness comes out that we are going to track a deer. They lose their ever-loving mind when they see the harness, so it is the last thing we bring out – haha.
What I like: This is high quality, fits well, and is durable. We have dogs that range in size from 65 lbs to 90 lbs – this is easy to adjust. There are Velcro panels for reflectors, patches, etc. There are a lot of different ways to buckle/unbuckle the harness if you get in a bind. There is a handle on top that is very sturdy – I have had to pull a 72 lb. dog out of a tall creek bed by the handle. There are links on the top and front for your leash. The orange is highly visible on this harness too!
What I dislike: Very little. Getting it on and off can be a trick. The harness is essentially two pieces – the chest and back panel. I like to use the disconnect at the flank to get them off because it keeps the two pieces together. You can separate them from the side or the front. It’s versatile, but sometimes too versatile – haha.
Overall, we bought another harness so we can track with two dogs. I highly recommend it for just about any working dog. Whether you’re tracking or just need a solid harness, this is the one you want.

Straps are easy to adjust but are sturdy keeping this harness stable and secure no slipping. Very nice padding thicker than I had expected. The quality is higher than expected. Love the cut out for the shoulder with the y front it gives my dog full range of motion and comfort for long working days. The metal buckles are nice, the plastic ones are good quality too. The D ring on top is great, however the one in front is unnecessary and strange looking. The handle is nice and stands up on its own.

Well worth the cost. I’m pet sitting a 70lb goofball with a penchant to pull… hard. I use a leash on the no pull ring in addition to a leash hooked to the back, on daytime walks, to keep him in check. My only issue is the large fits well enough but it’s a bit short for his body length, and trying to lengthen the chest strap only makes it slide forward and loose when he moves, his chest girth is as normal, bigger than behind his elbows where the straps sit now. Still. He’s comfortable enough and I feel better with the harness than just a straps harness or a single leash and plain collar.

Purchased this in January of 2020 to replace a much cheaper and lower quality harness for our Golden Retriever. He a pretty big dog and has always pulled on flat buckle collars, so we wanted another harness.
Aesthetic – (10/10)
This is a very nice looking harness. The buckles, hook/loop, handle, stitching, and attachment points all looked high quality out of the box. Our Golden is obviously not an intimidating breed, but as we are training him for therapy, we like the tactical look of the harness.
Durability – (9/10)
After 4 months of nearly daily use, I can say that the harness is holding up very well. We haven’t used the hook/loop patches, so I can’t speak to their durability, but overall the harness is wearing nicely.
Function – (9/10)
My biggest gripe is around the adjustable straps. The slides are very tight, making the straps nearly impossible to adjust while on the dog. So, we had to “sneak up” on the fit. However, once we had it adjusted, it did not budge. So, the difficulty of adjustment is kind of a blessing, once you are properly fitted. Getting the harness on breeze; just slip the front opening over the dog’s head and secure the two large buckles from underneath. Removal is the same but in reverse. I was hesitant about the two plastic buckles, but they are very substantial, have great positive The front lead metal clip works very well – and this is the only setup where our dog does not pull. I can’t yet comment on the hook/loop functionality, but will update this review if I do utilize this feature in the future.
Value – (9/10)
Putting aside price, this is truly the best harness we’ve ever purchased for our dog and I highly recommend it for anyone with a large breed. At $40 for the two metal buckle version and even more for the four metal buckle version, it is a bit expensive. However, after 4 months of use I would gladly pay the premium price given the functionality, durability, and the “cool” factor.

I have owned this harness for almost 4 years. My dog wears it on our daily walks. It is still in excellent condition, but that is not why I am writing this review. Yesterday while walking, my dog was attacked by another dog. This dog came full speed and latched on to the back of my dog’s neck. The other dog did not let go for what seemed like forever and sunk his teeth deeper and deeper in. Luckily, all he had was a mouthful of harness. The only way I was able to get this dog off was to unhook the harness. After all was said and done, my dog walked away very sore with a couple of scratches on his belly. There is no doubt in my mind this harness saved his life. In addition, I washed the harness in the washing machine and it looks brand new.

Due to being sprayed by a skunk this is the second iteration of this harness I’ve purchased for my dog a 55 lb Pitbull. It’s a high quality product that’s very well made however version 2.0 which is this listing is actually not as good as the original. First of all they like to advertise it as a tactical vest however they changed the metal buckles from black to Orange which very ostentatiously stands out as it’s the only thing on the entire harness which is not black so I had to paint it. Second change was the underside of the harness had been modified to be adjustable. I found it’s the one part of the harness that does not seem to hold its position and constantly needs to be tightened and despite the fact that I bought the same size both times this vest does not fit as well as the original and it’s due to the adjustable underside of the harness the main problem being that it doesn’t tighten up enough underneath. I wish they would have stuck with the original design. The first one I purchased lasted 11 months without any issues until encountering a skunk and not being able to get the smell out. Fingers crossed that this one will possess the same degree of quality aside from the aforementioned issues

I love this harness. My dog likes it too. He walks beautifully with it on I can even give the leash to my two year old to hold from his stroller. That being said training has a lot to do with it but he DID pull when he had just a martingale on. Nothing Crazy tho just a little. This harness definitely corrected that immediately. Plenty of ΒLoopΒ for Hook/Loop/Velcro patches and badges. Also Molle adapted for additional add-ons.
With a 3yo Heeler training in K9 SAR we will go through a similar vest in about 16 months. If this vest fails I will update this review.

My pup is no longer the 4 year old fur rocket that she was when I got this vest, but she still uses it every day. The front buckles failed some time ago do to my own stupidity, but I eliminated them as described below and have had to make zero alterations to it since. Not a single fray on any part of the material, this thing is a tank. My dog has helped me survive some crazy times in my life and as weird as it sounds, this vest has been with us most the entire time. It’s bizarre to see her outside without it. She no longer needs it on any level, she’s old, slow, and never more than a few feet from me even when off the leash- but still she won’t walk out of the door without sliding it on.
On behalf of myself and my Bella, I want to thank ICEFANG and congratulate them on making something of such high quality. It’s exceptionally rare to find any modern product made to endure.

This is still used daily, and still in serviceable condition. Both of the front metal clips came apart this year, but I simply stitched the straps to the loops and she puts on the harness like a collar, then we buckle the larger plastic clips on the underside. The only signs of wear after 4 years was those metal clips coming apart. Otherwise, it’s still in like-new condition. Amazing product.

This thing is still going strong and is in daily use by my (now) 95 lbs Malinois. I did make a mistake some months ago by sticking the whole thing in the washer and dryer after an incident where she(dog) went bounding into a swamp in pursuit of a deer while off the leash in a national forest. The vest’s metal hardware didn’t take being beaten around so well and I had to do some work to keep the vest usable, but I didn’t need to purchase anything to get that done. I had to sew some strapping together and rethink how one of the clasps was connected, but overall for two and a half years of very regular use, it’s in a condition where I expect it to go another couple of years at least. Quality products are few and far between these days, and I felt it was worth an update to the review as a way of saying thanks for making something that endures.

This harness is for my 80 lb malinois. She has been wearing it daily for the last 6 months, and has never shown any discomfort. While she is normally very well behaved on the leash, there have been instances of close proximity to deer, and other wildlife that trigger in her a prey drive. I am 100% certain that she is tugged as hard as she is capable, and has been unable to break free from the harness. The leash loop, and the buckles appear to be of good quality, and show no signs of wear after 6 months of daily use. I added a few patches, and she gets complimented on the harness almost every time we go out in public.
The straps are thick and strong and there’s plenty of padding in the right places. Buckles, stitching, top and front leash loops, and attached handle are all made to withstand the forces exerted by an even a large and powerful dog.
I found the sizing chart to be very accurate. Medium fits exactly right at 80 lbs with just a little extra strap length to spare into further expansion.

First of all I love the harness, looks good and buckles seem very solid, love the placement of the Velcro for patches. So here is where you really need to gauge your dog (I have a red nose that could pull a car) and adjust the harness accordingly. At first my boy was choking himself, its imperative you adjust the bottom straps around the torso tightly, and leave the neck loose until you have the torso straps correct. Then adjust the neck straps looser than you did the torso (once again this is muscular pit bull that pulls, actually this harness has curbed his lifting his front legs and then digging in to pull). I would assume some of the neg reviews I read was this harness didnt come “right for their dog”……The more I adjust the harness the better he does with it….I really think this ability, although a little cumbersome, in the end makes this a very good choice. I held off 5 stars to see if the adjustment I made stay, I marked all of them to measure here in a week, I dont review much but I love dogs and I think leashes and harnesses need to be good since people unfortunately fear large dogs like mine, not knowing they are lovers and want everyone to pet them.

It is a second skin for her, there have been zero complaints (If you own a GS, then you will know what this statement actually means). While we do try to take it off of her while she is in the house, she has fallen asleep several times with it on. There are lots of curves in the design and all of the buckles have two layers of padding underneath. I have not tested it with gear yet, but it does a great job at not moving around or shifting.
My dog is 17lbs in the photo, if you were looking for a poundage/size reference. The sizing chart said to get her an “XS”, but went with the “S” and don’t regret it. At the minimum setting, it fits her just fine.
***Functionality***
It is very easy to put on and take off. I eventually plan to have her carry her own “gear” for day hikes and camping. Molle canteen with water will go on one side and a pouch full of food and a bowl will go on the other. The top metal loop for the leash works very well and the whole thing really does a great job at distributing the pressure if she tries to chase a cat, or I have to give her a quick correctional tug. The large handle on the back is also a fantastic addition. She is still a pup, so giving her a little extra help getting into and out of the car is quick and easy.
I went with this one over the (OneTigris) one because of the metal clasps on the front. They are super easy to work with, and honestly look better. Otherwise they look identical.

I was initially hesitant to get this for a puppy, because I knew that she was going to outgrow it, but even if you had to buy three of them throughout the growth of your dog, that is still only around the “hundo” mark. Plus, if they outgrow it, you now have a gift for someone else. I want her to get used to the feel of it, so it is worth it for me.

It is shocking to me then anyone is having a problem with sturdiness . Unless itΒs not taken of care , and I mean unless you donΒt run it over with a car , this is the strongest , most sturdy harness I have ever purchased to date . I have purchased at least 15 . It definitely looks like my baby is ready for the military , but I was sick of him chewing through every cutesy halter I have purchased for hi, in the last month . 3! Yes he is a puppy , but heΒs already a big boy as heΒs going to be at least 75 pounds and is more than half way there with a mind of his own . Not only safe , string and sturdy, but I love the Velcro feature as you can stick patches on , service dog or otherwise and it holds perfectly. I also love that I canΒt pick him up with handle if necessary without putting strain on his neck , esophagus laryngeal area etc. my baby prior to now had several conditions and I tell everybody I say with any sort of training collar on or even the clip in the front always make sure to clip it on the back no one knows what causes it when itΒs contracted later in life but it certainly canΒt help to be putting strain on those areas . What is the most dreadful combination of conditions you could ever imagine heartbreaking incredibly high maintenance and eventually not only devastating but honestly the worst day of my life losing him so donΒt use any sort of choke collars training collars or anything that will pull your dogs neck always have a harness so you can control them safely and efficiently , Muscular degeneration diseases and more specifically megaesophagus and laryngeal paralysis are on the rise , exspecially in big dogs , always keep food and water elevated For big dogs from the beginning, Buy a trusted harness such as this and spend time training your dogs with a harness and nothing else that could possibly harm them you never know if your dog may have a predisposition to one of these awful illnesses.

We’ve had this harness for several months and it has held up far better than anticipated. It is well made and the materials are of a high quality. It still looks and feels new even though it has been used to walk (and run) our 90 lbs. Rhodesian Ridgeback virtually every day since the harness arrived. I had read numerous review for this and other similar products before making the purchase. I don’t recall what I determined about sizing, but followed the collective wisdom of other customer reviews (no issues with sizing – we have a large harness). When ordering there are several configurations from which to choose for the 4 clasps – this is important to understand. The choices offered relate to having a metal or plastic clasp and where these are located on the harness. I opted for metal at the collar and plastic at the chest. (I considered there would be more stress at the collar.) What I learned was that the metal clasps are much easier to release versus the plastic. Both versions are strong and durable, but the plastic clasps are very stiff and more difficult to release. I had read one review that had images of failed clasps and stitching (I believe it was for this product) which gave me pause in completing the purchase initially. If you have these same concerns, I recommend you proceed with the purchase as we have not experienced any problems whatsoever (no wear, fraying, cracks, etc.). The harness has several adjustment points and plenty of extra length to work with for sizing. Our Rhodesian displays no discomfort when wearing the harness and we have not had any issues with chaffing. In fact, our Rhodesian seems to enjoy wearing the harness and we have much better control over him on our walks.

The design is perfect and the latches and buckles all work marvelously. I find it super easy to put on my dogs as I only have to unlatch the back buckles and my dogs know to stick their head in or pull out of the harness, which was something I didn’t have with my prior two-point harnesses. I am going on my second round of buying these for my dogs as they have outgrown their old ones and I knew I had to get the same harness again.
The quality has been perfect thus far, I have used this every day since I got it due to how active my dog and I are and it has held together well. If you are worried about your dog pulling or tugging and snapping the rear plastic latches, they have another version that is metal there (for aesthetic or functionality). This time I got the reflective version and am enjoying how it looks and performs as well.
My dog has slept, played and just about everything else in this harness and it doesn’t seem to bother them at all and as they like having it on. No rubbing spots or anything on them and it fits nice and tight due to it being so adjustable. The handle is also nicely made and doesn’t cut into the had when picking your dog up.
I was worried for one of my dogs as she is pretty barrel-chested (shes a great dane), but due to how easily and well adjustable the harness is, it fits her perfectly! I also have the leases that match them and find them to be of the same great quality. Bought this for a Border Collie pup nearing a year old with major anxiety issues, who startles very easily and has a hefty response to perceived threats with barking, lunging, etc (new meds seem to be helping much more than the old ones, so much less of an issue now).
She shows zero signs of discomfort with this harness, even when she wears it for the whole day. It is a touch weighty, and she was hesitant the first few times i went to put it on her after the initial wear, but now she stands calmly while I strap her in before bounding over to the door to wait impatiently while I get her leash.
Only thing I could possibly knock about it would be that it seems to run just a hair larger than the measurements would suggest, as I measured her according to the guide provided, she fit just a couple of inches over the minimum size, and I currently have the harness snugged up as far as it will go and it is just a touch loose on her. Not a problem for me, as she is only just now hitting the one year mark and she hasnt been spayed yet, so I have no doubt i will end up letting it out a little in a couple of months.
Be prepared to brush down the harness after walks though if your dog likes to roll around like mine does… the velcro does like to collect grass clippings and such! Just buy plenty of patches and the problem goes away!
Update: July 1st 2022.
More than one year on and this thing is just as solid as the day i got it.
My girl demands her harness when she is ready for her morning walk, and then has no interest in any attempt to remove it until her last out of the day. Even when it is a mostly lazy day where she is just laying around the house, she doesnt want her harness removed. It is without a doubt the most comfortable of all the harnesses we tried, the most secure, and the safest. She can be easily controlled when she freaks out, and she looks so smart in it.

Final update. 8/27/22
Bought the same size in Grey with reflective stitching. This harness has had some design tweaks since my original purchase. The new red tabs on the front buckles are easier to open, almost too easy.
Most importantly, the underbelly piece has changed from a single unit to a two piece with adjustability. Its a solid looking update that i cannot knock at all. Great improvement.
However, this redesign has increased the size of the harness, meaning the old design that I bought in a medium, that when cinched up as far as possible, fits like a glove and can grow with her, has been replaced with an improved product that no longer fit my dog as it was too loose.
Amazon returns arent a hassle, and I’ll probably end up just ordering the small now instead, but if a product is updated, the listing should be as well.
Just pay close attention to sizing, and assume it will be a little loose now and adjust accordingly.

We have an old dog, and she’s getting harder to get up from her bed. She’s half blind, and can hardly see the steps–so she’s harder to get up and down stairs, and is apt to launch out when she’s a couple steps from the bottom, and thereby land hard. And sometimes on smooth floors her legs slip and splay out and she lays their whining because she can’t get up. If I try to pick her up under her forelegs, she is in obvious pain and does pretend nips (pretend because she doesn’t want to bite me).
This harness helps with all that, especially because of the handle. Now I can pick her up and get her on to her feet, help her up and down the stairs, glide her to a gentle landing if she takes too many stairs down at once, and persuade her to move when I need to. I can’t vouch for how comfortable the harness is, but she doesn’t complain or try to nip when I pick her up, even though it crosses under where she doesn’t want me to touch.
At first I tried to put it on her each time I needed to use it, but it’s not all that easy to get on when she’s lying down, and apparently the process can be painful, because she’ll nip. Now I leave it on all the time and she seems fine with it.
She ways about 45 pounds.

I really like the quality of these harnesses, they are built to last. I use them to clip the leash to the chest loop under their heads. When they pull, the leash pulls across their front legs and turns their bodies. Only takes a couple walks to break the habit of pulling. I never clip to the top unless I want to be pulled around.

I am extremely happy with this harness!!! It is absolutely beautiful and feels/looks so well made and sturdy.
Fitment: the armpits dont rub, even after 5 hours of wear (including about 30 min of intense ball chase at the park). The back of it doesn’t gap at all (which was a concern due to previous harnesses), and it is very easy to put on my dog.
Final note: 10/10 would recommend! This is exactly what I was looking for and the quality did not disappoint.
