I additionally have it for my malinois/pitbull mix (strong & high energy) and even though she pulls every which way, itΒs comfortable in the hands and around the wrist for better control on walks.

I was hoping to find a dog leash made from climbing rope, which this is itΒs well-made as a comfortable handle strong rope and also a holder for bags. This is the best dog leash IΒve had so far highly recommend.

This is an attractive, strong and comfortable leash, but it does not reflect light at night. For that reason, I probably would not buy it again since itΒs unsafe to walk at night without something to help make you visible when you cross the street etc.(It would be fine if you were only going to use it during the daytime.)

My goldendoodle gets so excited and a thin woven leash is hard for me to hold with arthritic hands, this one is so much easier to keep a grip on. I like that the clasp swivels, he likes to turn and turn and now I don’t have to untangle him. It comes with a container of poop bags that is detachable. We have only used it twice now but so far I think it is a great leash!

I needed a new leash for my rescue lab mix and have been doing some research to find a comfortable leash with solid materials. In reading the reviews, this leash appeared to be just what I was looking for. This leash would be perfect for smaller to medium breeds and any dog that does not occasionally strain the leash. I have a larger breed and the material does not feel solid and stretches when my dog strains to go off trail/path we’re on. It is also not reflective at all as we do a lot of evening and pre-dawn walks.

I purchased this leash about 8 months ago and itΒs not a purchase I regret. It has been one of the sturdiest leashes I have bought so far. My pup was 6 months old at the time and she was leash reactive. It took a beating with those baby shark teeth during each walk while we trained and she grew up, but it held itΒs own. Some tips to help it last longerΒ
1st tip: This isnΒt one of those leashes to leave on your dog while they run around the house and you do some quick chores. They will definitely go for that rubber handle and the plastic cover at the seams. It isnΒt poor quality or manufactures fault if you let your dog get to it. Use a slip leash instead (no rubber handles or plastic parts they can swallow) and some brands have a warranty that if your dog tears it, they will replace it.
2nd tip and more of a reality check: itΒs not meant to last forever. Get that expectation sorted out real quick because even if my pup had not applied her baby shark teeth to it, the reflective strips do wear and tear after some time and it becomes abrasive to your hands or your dog. The tip part being that if you plan to keep using it after, then I suggest some sturdy gloves and making sure your pup isnΒt grabbing it with their mouth.
Would I buy this again? Yes, it works well and as long as your responsible too then it should last long enough to make the $9.99 worth it. IΒve also paired this with a different brand 15ft leash and the ring has been sturdy at holding her weight for some of the sudden pulls.

This is a great leash for strong dogs! It holds up to our 70 pound boy when he gets excited. I ordered this leash last minute for a road trip and was apprehensive to purchase a leash online without feeling the quality first. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived! Based on my experience so far, I will order more.
Pros:
The padded handle is very comfortable, making our walks easier. The bone shaped waste bag container and waste bags are an added touch that have been handy on our trips and neighborhood walks. The lockabilty of leash is solid. The length is good for everyday walks. The durability stands up to active dogs who pull.
Cons:
The length can be short for training purposes. The only grip on the leash is the handle. ItΒs an easy fix though. We created a knot in the leash closer to the clasp in case we need a shorter lead.
The pros heavily outweigh the cons. IΒm very happy with this purchase!
