Great for thunderstorms, fireworks, or in our case: people being within 100 feet of our apartment. You really have to train them not to shake it off, which they can do easily. After they know not to shake it off it works well! You may have to readjust it after an hour or two.

The product will do exactly what it is supposed to do – it is an overall good material and sizing seems appropriate to give it a snug fit, which is what you want… however:
I cannot give this product above 2 stars as is because I am 99.5% sure that I was sent a returned, dirty, used product. The product smells awful and very much like a dirty, wet dog. To the point that it made my dog incredibly upset straight out the package because he could not stop sniffing at it.
Not only is this disgusting – it’s unsanitary and potentially harmful to an unsuspecting dog and their owner. If the previous trial owner’s pet, who returned the product, happened to have an infectious skin disease… it could infect the next dog who gets it. It’s unacceptable to send a used, smelly product like this out as new. Especially when it could compromise the health of my own dog.

It is very thin. I am just glad i live where winters aren’t that cold. Unfortunately, my dog didn’t like it. I had it around his neck and was going to pull it over his ears when we reached traffic, but he would budge out of the house until I removed it from his body. So will try when weather gets cold and see if he will be ok with it.

The thing kept unrolling and getting too long for my liking, so I just sewed it to make it double in thickness without unrolling. Still works great.

Was desperate to find something for our 8 lb cat that overgroomed himself and wasn’t thrilled about having clothes put on him. Surprisingly, this stays on, he didn’t manage to take it off. He still scratches at his neck, but the scarf thing protects him. It is a bit longer than I wanted it to be, but it folds nicely, and it’s thick enough not to let his claws tear it completely. It’s been a couple of days, and it’s holding up well, I might have to cut it in half and make 2 out of it, and this way I can replace them when one needs to be washed.

Even though I bundled my little dog up to go outside in 29 degree weather he quickly began shivering from the cold – I figured it was because his head was exposed. All I had to do was add this snood and he stopped shaking! I am delighted with this and highly recommend it!

It fit snugly around my FrenchieΒs head but he hated it so he would either pull it off completely, pull it down so it would be a very snug neck gaiter or the worst case scenario is it would come half way off, heΒd cover his head and eyes and be in the dark until I found him. Itself is a simple good product but I wouldnΒt buy it for my dog again.

Luna actually allows me to put this on her and wears it when she goes out in the cold. Occasionally sheΒll shake to get it off the ears, then itΒs more of a turtle neck. As a pittie mix, she doesnΒt have much fur/hair so she needs all the layers as possible.

Don’t get me wrong, these work! All 3 of my dogs have anxiety when they hear fireworks, or loud noises, these headbands calm them down immediately. However the best part is the resemblance to little old European women they have while wearing them, I die every time. Buy these not because they work, but to cheer yourself up with a good laugh.
