No electronics to worry about, and this is better than the sonic sound devices. The clicker is quite humane and my dogs respond well. Adding rewards to new training is so very important. I really didn’t want a sonic sound device; I wanted something to focus just on the dogs I’m working with and not those sonic ones with a long range that punish all dogs within earshot. That’s not fair. I really like these and easy to put in my pocket when we go for a walk or to the park and I need to get my pooch’s attention back to what we were learning. Good quality clicker.

Love these clickers. I’ve tried several brands and these are my favorite. The sound is good – my dogs hear it from far away but it’s not too loud for humans. The push button makes it very easy to use in a hurry. I have a chihuahua with fence fighting issues so I need a good, strong click in a hurry. It doesn’t slide out of my hands. I like the strap – I keep one clicker around the top of my dog treat container and another hanging on our key holder.

Clicker training is an easy way to get a dogΒs attention. Praise them for their response. My dog is a rescue from a very poor environment, extremely shy and fearful. The clicker would get his attention and not threaten him, he would look to see where the noise was coming from and stop whatever misbehavior. I would instantly praise him. I would have preferred to have him eventually respond to the click of my tongue, but I am unable to make the sound loud enough or quick enough, because of my health. Now I only need to pick up the clicker and he will stop and look at me for guidance, correction and praise.

IΒm no pro dog trainer but after a little research on how to use these, my puppy is picking up her training quick. These are very easy to use. ItΒs a really great feature to have the wrist band and clip because I can always have it ready. I put one on my keys and one on my puppyΒs leash so I basically always have it. It is also great having two so that my wife and I can both use them when we are teaching ΒcomeΒ from a distance from each other. They are very ergonomic rather than the boxy clickers. Definitely recommend these if youΒre training using this method.
