Soon after buying my cat Neater Feeder I ordered two more bowls. I ordered the 1 cup/2 pack, same ones my cats NF came with. When I received them last night I washed them and set them aside to use this morning. This morning I tried to put one in the NF and it did not fit. It is the same height but it is 1/8th inch larger in all other dimensions. The bowls were labeled SS BOWL CAT STANDARD 2 PACK. Did I receive the correct order? Are all the cat 1 cup bowls larger than the original bowls?

My initial order was for a set of two 3.5 cup bowls.
Pro: I was so happy to find stainless bowls that would fit in our pup’s feeding station! They are a perfect fit. And there were no labels to struggle to get off! So I ordered another set of two 3.5 cup bowls so there’s always a clean bowl ready for each meal. I only gently hand wash them since we don’t have to run the dishwasher every day and I don’t want to chance them rusting. They are holding up well so far, no rusting or denting.
Con: I was a bit puzzled to find that the two bowls were not of equal weight/gauge. Although the same dimensions, the bowls are different in weight. The description says nothing about this so I expected the bowls to be exactly the same. Makes me wonder if I ordered a single 3.5 cup bowl, which one they would send.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase and so is our pup. I would recommend these bowls for use in a feeding station. They are too light weight otherwise.

We have the stand which came with 1 water bowl and a shallow food bowl. We only use for water, and this was same size as water was. The entire system keeps the floor dry and is well worth it, as our dogs are super drippy drinkers.

I ordered these because they are advertised as having a 6 1/2″ outer ring diameter. They are larger than advertised with a 6 19/32″ outer ring diameter. 3/32″ doesn’t sound like much, but makes them too large for my application – for use in an elevated dog bowl stand that uses 6 1/2″ bowls.

I created an inexpensive table for my rec room repurposing a plank of Oak and using up a set of galvanized shop bench supports. I needed a dish to hold all the game tokens that was fairly cheap but effective whereas this dish was small, but very deep and had a lip on it so it could be dropped in a precut hole. This dish suited my needs perfectly. Arrived very fast & priced nicely!

First, as other one-star reviewers here say, the sticker on the INSIDE of the bottom of the bowl is difficult to remove and the residue, after more than a year, has never fully vanished.
Second, using these as water dishes, some form of green substance (algae?) formed on the sides that corroded the finish. And no amount of scrubbing can remove this. This has never happened to me before. And I was the water dishes every week or two.
Completely unacceptable. I’m switching to the Our Pets brand even though they’re an extra 25% of the cost. I will never try anything from Neater ever again.

I have had these bowls for years and if I purchase new ones to add inside or outside just to have extra on hand because we live in Florida and it is scorching hot, I always get consistent results when washing them or using them for food or water. They do not rust and I use them in the dishwasher almost every day. They come in tons of depths which I love!!!! I have only ever had to return one out of about 15, which I think is pretty great still.
We have all different feeders for water throughout the house and they fit all of them.

This particular shallow bowl fits my small dog’s Neater Feeder perfectly. My dog doesn’t have to put its whole face in the bowl to eat as it does with the normal sized bowl. I do use the larger bowl for my dog’s water, which stays cooler than our previous ceramic bowl. Removing the bowl from the Neater Feeder is not easy if you approach it from the side as I do. If it had holes on the front and both sides, it would be much easier to remove the bowls from the Neater Feeder. Otherwise, it is a great product and I highly recommend it.

I was afraid to purchase based on some of the reviews. Bowls are great! They are NOT flimsy! They are NOT like aluminum foil. They are not the heavy weighted bowls – if you just plan to purchase and put on the floor. But they are PERFECT as bowls to use in the raised feeders.
I bought a raised feeder on clearance- missing the bowls. I noted that it took 3.5 cup bowls- ordered 3.5 cup bowls… and whaddddyya know!!!! They fit!!!! TheyΒre all bowls- y!!! They hold food. They hold water. They wash out with soap and water. Dreamy!!!
And my bowls did not have the problem sticker that some people mentioned.

My dog is a slobbery mess when she eats and drinks, so the Neater Feeder was a great solution. But while it keeps the area around her bowls clean and drip-free, the bowls themselves cake up with slobber and old food just like any of her previous bowls did. Fortunately, they do well going though the dishwasher once a week, and having a spare pair of bowls makes changing them out and washing them that much easier. The water bowl, especially is great, since it’s much deeper than the regular bowls, and finally I don’t have to worry about my dog running out of water during the day while I’m at work. These are good, sturdy, quality bowls that handle a once-a-week trip through the dishwasher very well. Couldn’t ask for better.

I’m hoping this is true stainless steel. It’s not as shiny as the other bowls I have purchased and when I wash it, it has a “black” film on the outside of the bowl. If it was on the inside, I would have returned it. I just don’t want it to be aluminum as that would be harmful to my dog’s health! In the past, the bowls I purchased from other companies had a stainless steel sticker or stamp on the bottom.

I ordered 3 of these bowls, all in the same order. They were all different depths and widths. While they ultimately do fit in the Neater Feeder slot, 2 of them slid around quite a bit around the rim. They were also all shipped separately, so they came from 3 different sources, which would probably account for the difference in the sizing. They will work, but curious why they were all slightly different.
