I love this two pack of slow feeder bowls. I have a pit and pocket bully, and they eat much slower with these bowls. The size is perfect for their cup of food. The bowls donยt flip over. I needed a silicone mat to keep it in place otherwise it slid across our LVP flooring.

After I received these I started them with my two mini dachshund dogs. One just gobbled her food prior to this bowl. Now she can’t eat as fast now. My male, well he just always takes his time as always. They both don’t seem upset or disturbed by switching to these bowls.
They are some type of heavy duty plastic or polymer and so far have done just fine. I don’t wash them in the dishwasher as I am afraid the heat to dry them may cause some damage. Soaking in hot soapy water is how I do it.

They are stackable, which is nice when storing them and they clean up nicely in the dishwasher. Theyยre too difficult to hand wash without getting all of the saliva out. I would highly recommend this product.

We ordered these for a litter of puppies and gave them to the new owners as a gift. Labrador puppies often eat too fast and these were great for getting them to slow down. They weren’t able to tip them over or pick them up with their mouths like they did with other dishes. Good value. They only hold about 1.5 cups of puppy food, but they are a good starter dish or good for small breeds.

Have a dog that gulps food. We mix kibble with Freshpet and a little water, and dog was finishing it off in a matter of less than a minute. Now we mix it in separate bowl then pour into the feeder and spread it around, and dog takes longer to eat. Only issue is cleaning the feeder, but a sponge/pad will fit into the grooves of the feeder. It seems to work this way. I cannot see how one would easily use this on canned dog food, though. A lot of trouble.

It was so important for us to slow my dog down from eating. Notches in the bowl arenยt too tall that the dog canยt get food, average sized bowl. I do wish it was a smidge deeper only because I pour broth on my dogs food. So I had to decrease the amount of broth so it didnยt spill over.
