Bought a size small and it fits my 13 lb Jack Russell terrier perfectly – with room to spare with the adjustable straps – so guessing could fit a dog up to 20lbs.
This life jacket is so cute with the little shark fin and my pup doesnΒt mind wearing it. It works great for keeping her afloat as she tires out. She goes non-stop.
My only complaint is the quality is just okay. The handle ripped first weekend we had it – when the leash attached to the d-ring got caught on our dock. And after a couple weekends of hard play, it is fraying on some spots.
For context, my dog swims non-stop. She rolls around on the dock and in the first and rocks while wearing this and she runs around with a leash attached that catches on things (dock cleats, rocks, chairs, etc.). This life jacket would probably hold up just fine for less crazy dogs. Just wouldnΒt call this a heavy duty life jacket.
That being said, it was half the price of some others and is so stinking cute.

Our fur baby loves the water and becomes absolutely enraged if we get in the pool without her. We were worried about her jumping in when we werenΒt around and her overall safety we she plays while we are in the pool. Seems like durable construction and it was super easy to put her in it with plenty of room to adjust as she grows. She seems to love it and we love that itΒll keep her safe!

Some may find it silly to buy a vest for a puppy. After all, dogs are supposed to know how to swim by nature. I enjoy paddle boarding and really wanted to take my new puppy for rides rather than leaving her behind. She gets so excited when she sees me pick up her vest. She knows that means itΒs time to go out on the water. It makes me happy that she loves going with me and I can feel confident that she will be safe with her vest on. I clip a tether to the ring of the vest and it also has a nice handle that I can use to lift and reposition her when she decides to sit too close to the edge of my board.

I found that an XS fits my teacup yorkie perfectly. It seems to fit her well and she seems to be comfortable in it. When she fell in the water, the handle worked great for picking her up since she had fallen in the water. She also loves wearing it when we go on walks around the water. The small fits our petite 8lb puppy perfectly. He has a 14 inch back and 14 inch chest. Tightened the belly straps to the tightest they will go and itΒs very snug and secure. Clipped off the extra strap and burned the ends to seal. Fits around his neck perfectly too. He seems comfy in it. Very easy to take on and off with the thick Velcro. Walks in it just fine. Still learning to swim. But we feel good having this help him and us feel more confident. Handles are awesome. And the cute fin is too cute!!!!

Size chart is accurate, very simple to put on, has a leash ring above the handle for the 15′ lead I’ll be using to keep him attached to me, and felt very secure! This lil 11lb long-haired chihuahua mix fits into a small mostly perfectly. It’s a smidge short for his longer body but around the ribcage and neck are perfect. // Definitely floats! Funny little guy jumped for the landing about 3 feet early and with almost no slack on the lead ?? his feet never touched bottom but he was only wet from the shoulders down. It was then a secure harness for a mile walk home! Excellent product thus far.

My girl dogs are pretty small and sometime xs it a bit big. These extra small life jackets fit my 4 lbs and 5 lbs girls perfectly. According to the chart there neck and chest measurements were smaller then the extra small measurements but I thought Id give it a try anyways. They are super cute with the shark fin. I also purchased one for my male dog he is 10 lbs and has a Jack Russell terrier mix in him. I got him a small and it was perfect. These were easy to put on and adjust and seem to be comfortable. I will update on how well the product works in action after our trip!!
